The paintings will be on view from 2 – 29 September. The Opening Reception will take place on Monday 10 September from 5.30 pm – 7.00 pm.

The exhibition is sponsored by Yangtze Theater Company and Pace University.

Zhou Chang Ziang from Shanghai first exhibited his paintings in New York at the Guggenheim’s “5000 Years of Chinese Art” in 1998.

Dr Joanna Chan, Director of the Yangtze Theater Company, has a new play opening at the Yangtze Theater in late September.

Brian worked with Joanna in Hong Kong in the late 80s when Joanna was Director of the HK Repertory Company. At that time Brian was the main set designer for the Company.

The exhibition opened on the evening of Monday 10 September and closed on Tuesday morning as the Twin Towers came crashing down covering the area in debris and dust. A month later the police gave approval for a removal company to rescue the pictures and, minus those sold on the opening night, to ship them back safely to Hong Kong.

是次畫展由長江劇團和 P A C E大學聯合贊 助。

來自上海的周長江於1 9 9 8 年紐約舉行的 「5000年中國美術展」中首次展出個人作 品。

長江劇團總監 Joanne Chan 將於9月底在長 江劇團推出一套新劇。

白賴恩於80年代末在港與當時身任香港話劇 團總監的Joanne Chan 合作過。當時白賴恩 為該公司的首席舞台設計師。

是次畫展於9 月1 0 日星期一黃昏開 幕，並定於翌日星期二結束，即紐約 兩座金融大樓被炸毁並倒塌在一片頹 垣敗瓦中的日子。事發一個月後，紐 約警方批准搬運公司搬走我的畫。除 了在開幕當晚賣出的作品外，其餘的 都安然無恙地被運回香港。
