'The Rise and Fall of Carrian'

The Rise and Fall of Carrian

My art work became more heavily reliant on Asian characteristics just as Carrian were building up their sumptuous black marble headquarters along the waterfront.
I had completed paintings for several walls and was in the process of being commissioned to do more when the firm collapsed, quite suddenly, and in the ensuing bankruptcy all the Carrian-owned paintings along with the silver tea service and the launch had to be auctioned off. I recently re-discovered two of the paintings in New Zealand and a third one in the USA.
